Fewer days lost to migraine

Botox is FDA-approved to help prevent headaches in adults with chronic migraine, meaning headaches on 15 or more days a month. It's given as a set pattern of small injections around the head, neck and shoulders, usually every few months.

It isn't a treatment for occasional headaches. Dr. Kendall reviews your history, your current medications and anyone else treating your migraines before recommending it.

  • Headaches on 15 or more days a month
  • Migraines that haven't responded to other prevention
  • Neck and shoulder tension that comes with your headaches
  • Wanting fewer days lost to migraine

$12.50 a unit, or $10 a unit for Ritual members, who also get $50 off every toxin treatment. Units vary by area and are agreed before treatment.

Is this for you?

Treatment is physician-planned and physician-injected, with doses set for your anatomy and the problem you're treating.

Does it replace my migraine medications?

Not necessarily. Dr. Kendall works out the plan with you, and with your neurologist or primary care physician if you have one.

How soon will I notice a difference?

It can take more than one round of treatment to see the full effect, so the first plan usually covers more than one visit.

Can I have it if I only get occasional headaches?

It isn't approved for occasional headaches. Dr. Kendall will talk through other options that may suit you better.
