Botox for excessive sweating

Stop planning your clothes around sweat

Hyperhidrosis is sweating well beyond what the body needs to cool down. It's common, it's medical, and it isn't a hygiene problem.

Botox is FDA-approved to treat severe underarm sweating in adults when prescription-strength antiperspirants aren't enough. It works by quieting the nerve signals to the sweat glands in the treated area. Palms and feet can also be treated, which is off-label.

  • Sweat marks through shirts most days
  • Antiperspirants that barely help
  • Changing clothes during the day
  • Avoiding handshakes or certain fabrics

$12.50 a unit, or $10 a unit for Ritual members, who also get $50 off every toxin treatment. Units vary by area and are agreed before treatment.

Is this for you?

Treatment is physician-planned and physician-injected, with doses set for your anatomy and the problem you're treating.

How long does it last?

Results often last several months. Most people come back when they notice sweating returning.

Does it hurt?

It's a series of small, shallow injections. Dr. Kendall uses steps to keep you comfortable, and it's over quickly.

Will I sweat more somewhere else?

Treating the underarms doesn't typically change how you sweat elsewhere. Your body still regulates temperature normally.
