Skin boosters in Charleston

Skin boosters spread very small amounts of hyaluronic acid through the skin, instead of adding volume in one spot the way filler does. The aim is hydration, a smoother surface and skin that reflects light better, without changing your features.

They're a good fit when your face doesn't need shaping, just better skin.

  • Dull or dehydrated skin
  • Fine, crepey lines on the cheeks
  • Neck, chest and hands
  • Skin that looks tired in daylight

Your investment is confirmed at your consultation, before any treatment.

Is this for you?

Skin boosters are about the quality of your skin: hydration, smoothness and glow. Nothing about your face changes shape.

  • Dull or dehydrated skin
  • Fine lines that make-up settles into
  • Neck, chest or hands that look older than your face
  • You've ruled out filler because you don't want volume

How is a skin booster different from filler?

Filler adds volume in a specific place to change shape. A skin booster places tiny amounts across an area to improve hydration and texture, so the result is better skin rather than a different shape.

Are skin boosters FDA-approved?

Some hyaluronic acid skin boosters are FDA-approved for specific uses. Dr. Kendall tells you exactly which product she's using and why.

How long do results last?

It depends on the product and your skin, and results are often maintained with periodic touch-ups. Dr. Kendall sets expectations at your consultation.

Is there downtime?

Small bumps and pinpoint marks are common for a day or two, and some people bruise. Most people go back to their day.
