BOTOX BEYOND THE FACE

Trap Botox for shoulder tension

Dr. Kendall in the front room of The Charleston Atelier on Cannon Street

Let your shoulders drop

The upper trapezius runs from the base of your neck to your shoulders. Desk work, stress and phones keep it switched on, and it can stay tight and sore.

A neuromodulator placed in the upper trapezius relaxes that constant tension. Some people also like the longer, smoother neckline it can give. This is an off-label use, and Dr. Kendall explains it at your consultation.

  • Shoulders that sit up near your ears
  • Neck and shoulder tightness by the end of the day
  • Tension that comes back after massage
  • Wanting a longer, softer neckline

$12.50 a unit, or $10 a unit for Ritual members, who also get $50 off every toxin treatment. Units vary by area and are agreed before treatment.

Is this for you?

Treatment is physician-planned and physician-injected, with doses set for your anatomy and the problem you're treating.

Dr. Kendall took the time to understand my goals and developed a personalized approach rather than treating me just like another patient.

Will my shoulders feel weak?

Doses are planned to relax tension, not strength. Most people don't notice a difference in everyday tasks, though heavy lifting may feel different at first.

How long does it last?

Effects commonly last a few months.

Can I combine it with massage or physical therapy?

Yes. Many people find it works well alongside them. Dr. Kendall will tell you how long to wait after treatment before deep massage.
